This is where I write about what I enjoy about my poetry, and other topics I write about. This is where I come up with new topics to write about. This is where I come to paint pictures in my mind that I want to write about; such as my stories, my dream sequences. This is where I come to think about music I want to add to my content. This is where I come to hang out whenever I just want to be alone with my thoughts. This is my special place in the writing world. I will see you all later, keep being creative.
My 47th Birthday, 10/12/21 Tuesday
As I look back over my life, it has been poetry in itself. There has been one thing after another but I made it through. I do not feel any older, and I do not look my age, which is a blessing from God. I am just glad I got to see it and enjoy my birthday.
HOW MY POETRY MAKES ME FEEL
When I think about my poetry, it makes me feel special and privileged to have such of a wonderful talent to paint pictures with words from my mind and heart. Sometimes I become emotional when I read the words I have written.
Sometimes when I reflect back over all of the years, I have been writing fills my heart with joy, and accomplishment. If it were not for God, I would not have the gift of writing, or any of my other talents He has blessed me to have.
My poetry is one of a kind. I write poetry many different ways. When I read my poetry, I look for the imagery in it. I look to see where it is going to take me. I look for the journey I have never been on before. I look for the quiet moments that make me think about what I want to write about next, and how the wording will take place.
My poetry brings out the poet in me that I know I have always been, and always will be. This is how my poetry makes me feel.
My Favorites Site Page
Today I created My Favorites page talking about different things about poetry, and some of my services should they be needed. It is kind of clear, but it is still readable. It is that way because of the format of the template I used, but it is pretty though. I think I did a good job on it. Well, that is all for now, until next time, keep writing and being creative.

I have always liked Shakespeare. I love how the words are written. To me, the words leap off the page and take your mind on a new journey to that moment in time. I also love Romeo and Juliet. I just do not like that it ended in tragedy. I have always been captivated by it. I also would love to see Westside Story. It is similar to Romeo and Juliet. I studied Shakespeare in Junior Highschool my eighth-grade year. My very first poem I ever read was called A Book. I don’ t remember the author, but I remembered the poem, even unto this very day, I still remember it. I was in the second grade in elementary school when I learned it from my reading book, Turning Corners. That was a very long time ago. I could not imagine my life without writing poetry. It is a part of me. I am always thinking about what I am going to write next. I will never stop writing and being creative. It is the poet in me.

My podcast is where I share all of my poetry, which is read by the author, that would be me. I started it because I wanted to share what I write with those who love to listen, read, and write poetry. I want everyone who listens to my podcast to let my words and imagery take their minds to places it has never journeyed before. I want it to soothe their heart and soul to complete relaxation. I can truly say that whenever I go back and listen to it, it has that effect on me! I know it may sound crazy but it does. It makes me smile and tear up at the same time, sometimes I even laugh out loud! How amazing is that? I would love it if it had that effect on everyone. THE OCEAN
The ocean so strong, it has been wrong, took some home and left families alone. Tears cried with sad good-byes drifting out into the waves in the sea of eternity.
The ocean so strong no one knows its strength, but also, no one can trust it. Respect her and she will respect you back, piss her off and she will kick your ass! The OCEAN!
My Poetry Starts with Me!
Many years ago, my love for poetry started at a very young age. My poetry starts with me. There are times when I think and speak in rhyme and rhythm. It has always been a part of me. There are times when I cannot control it; it just comes and goes at will. When it happens it is fun, it makes me laugh and smile.
I am so glad I have this special gift. As I said before, my poetry starts with me.
I am already thinking of what I want to write next. I will keep on writing and being creative. Let poetry take you to quiet places that only you can visit in the imagery of the words written from the heart of the writer.

I write about many different topics, such as love, romance, nature, or anything that strikes my interest, or whatever makes me happy.
LOVE and POETRY
When I think about love, I think about poetry. It warms my heart. It does something to my senses. It makes my heart race. I have images in my mind of the things I want to write about. It excites me. My mind thinks faster than I can get the words on paper, or typed out.
When I am writing love poems, I like to be in a quiet place where I can hear myself think. I am more focused on what I am writing about. My imagination can run free with my thought patterns. My words flow freely with my thoughts. When that happens, I am completely in my writing zone. I write for hours on end. My creativity flows through me. This mostly happens at night.
Whenever I am writing about romance, the atmosphere around me is completely different; it is somber and silent, but it is the kind of silence that one can feel in the moment when inspiration strikes, so I have to write when the inspiration comes be it day or night. Creativity comes at different times when I need to write.
Love and poetry go hand in hand when the heart is tuned in to them both.
About My Stories!
My stories, what can I say about them? My stories consist of dream sequences, seasons, short stories, and whatever comes across my mind. My stories have stories within them, so they travel near and far, and far, far away. It depends on the mindset I am in whenever I began to write. I do not ever know what I am going to write about, it is something that comes when the time is right. My stories usually begin with a thought. That thought turns into an explanation, and that explanation turns into a narrative story. Sometimes they turn out to be fairy tales. I never know until the words come together to tell the story. Sometimes the ending of it just may end in a question to the reader. I always explain what the story is about at the end also. I want my audience to know what they are reading about. I never want anyone to not know what the story is about. So, stay tuned for more stories right along with my poetry.
I will always keep on writing. I am a writer. It is a part of me. It is an extended part of myself that I only understand. To understand me, you have to read my writings. It is like looking at part of my heart. You will feel the emotions being felt in the words written to be shared.

I have so many memories of writing projects in my English class, and Reading class. I suppose that is where I matured in my writing. Keeping journals is something I have always done. I still keep journals for writing my thoughts. I keep journals because I can write and change things until I have it perfect before I share what I have written. I love journaling. It is how I brainstorm new ideas and topics to write about. Speaking of journals, it is time for another one. Sometimes I may buy two at a time because that is just how much I write. I always check the pages to see what the lines on the pages are like. I like the college ruled lines, I think it makes the writing neater than the regular wide ruled paper. The outside of the journal must be pretty for me to buy it. Sometimes the cover must have that special something about it that speaks to me, it must bring a smile to my face. There are times when I have writers block and cannot write anything at all for long periods of time. I hate when that happens. I become stagnant in writing; it is as if my creativity takes a vacation for a while. When it returns, I am refreshed with new topics to write about. My words flow better than they did at first. Whatever the case may be when I am writing, I always deliver the words from my heart and soul and create journeys to be embarked upon through poetry.

Hello!🌹It is the second month of 2023 and it’s hard to believe! It looks as if this year is going to be flying by just as 2022 did. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy it to the fullest. I have so much to do. I feel successful! I feel more accomplished, and more confident in myself.❤️❤️ Life is good! I feel loved, accepted, and cared for.
