Rain, oh rain where are you! The ground cries out because of the drought that has taken over the blades that withers.
Rain, oh rain! Where are you! Breathing in the Summer heat takes the fun away from the day, chasing the clouds away, only to heat up the night sky as the stars stay in the shade. No moon to light up the sky so, why do you keep your cool drops to yourself?
Return again, to cool again, to water again, to turn things green again. Breathing the Summer heat is like drinking a cup of fire without the flames. Heatwaves dance around the sun as if they are partying and having fun. The wind has her chambers locked as to not blow a cold breeze to cool us off, to give us some relief from the heat.
Time goes by as the world turns on its axis while the planets look on out into the galaxy. Day turns to night…but the heat remains constant, constantly breathing the Summer heat. Sipping on something cool to quench a parched throat from the dryness that’s caused it to crack like the desert floor.
How much more longer shall we breath in Summer heat while being fried waiting for the season to change? Heat, give us some relief! Turn your rays down. Calm down! What set you on fire! Don’t punish us in your madness! Your degrees are unbearable!
Rain! Rain! Come again and bring this drought to an end! Ending this scorching heat would be a treat like a piece of candy that’s so sweet. Bless us with droplets from the clear blue skies that for a while we may to the sun say goodbye.
For we know in due time Summer will end, but don’t worry it will come back again. Breathing the Summer Heat.☀️🌞🌅
