One day I saw you exercising your wings, not knowing you were getting ready to leave.

You flew off but not for long, you then found your way back home.

You decided you didn’t want to be here, so you left and never returned. I looked for you everywhere but you could not be found.

Tears streamed down my face as they still do. Please just know that your mother loves you.
