Wounded Life

Living a life of ups and downs, going down the wrong path only leads to a wounded life.

Doing things unknown by those that worry, by those who wait for the one with a wounded life.

Time and time again words of wisdom was given only to be trodden on by the one with the wounded life.

Carelesness takes hold of the one traveling on the road to destruction! What went wrong! What happened! Why!?!?

Nevertheless warnings were given, but not taken, not cared for, ignored and laughed at, but now the irons are closed and no light of day to be seen. Freedom taken away, all of the sky is gray, happiness gone away, taken from the one who has been wounded by life.

When does it all end? Why did it begin? Reality has set in. Real talk, straight talk, sound truth, couldn’t hear truth, now the proof of life cemented in concrete, on concrete, to sleep on concete. No comforts of home, no luxuries to call your own, speaking to the one wounded by life.

Had it all. Gave it up. For what? To follow the wrong crowd. Now tears are shed, no head to the bed, no shower to take, no food to make for the one wounded by life.

Pray still, have faith still, believe still, hold on still, do right now, make it right now, rededicate your life again still, love still, forgive still, never forget still, the one wounded by life still. Always will love still, do everything for still, be there for still, hold in my arms still, give advice to still, until life is still, put back together still, shoulder to cry on still, remember still, smile still, hearing your voice still, we love you still, forever still, doing everything we can still, to bring you home still, to God you belong still, to get your attention still, to hear His voice still, to be in His Word still, to give it all to Him still, to carry your burdens still, He loves you still, died for you still, rose again for you still, took your sins away still, the one wounded by life.

Your life is in His hands still, no one can take you out of His hands still, LOVE HIM STILL! the one wounded by life! ©2021
