Feel Oh, Heart…

Feel oh, heart, no more pain, but the love that beats within the chambers of the soul it belongs to.

Feel oh, heart, no more tears, but happiness that adorns a smile on the face of the hurt.

Feel oh, heart, no more harsh words that pierce the core of the being that carries it.

Feel oh, heart, the coolness that only joy can bring.

Feel oh, heart, no more hate that only sorrow can bring.

Feel oh, heart ,the love that wants to be received.

Feel oh, heart, the fogiveness that you need, to take away the power of the one that hurt you.

Nothing but nothing can break a soul like love can.

Nothing but nothing can drive out hate like love can.

Nothing but nothing can dry our tears like love can.

Feel oh, heart, alive again.

Feel oh, heart, sweet again.

Feel oh, heart, like new again.

What will it take for you to unbreak?

What will it take?

What will it take?

What will it take?

What will it take!!!!!

To feel like it once did, to love like it once did, to be happy like it once was…feeling emotions so deep that no one could even break through the happiness on the inside…untouchable. Now walls are built, boundaries made, limitations set in place…no escape…no freedom…no feelings…just cold.

Who knows but the one who owns the heart what it really feels? Will one say? Will one keep it to themselves? Only time can heal those hurt areas in the heart that is deeply wounded. ©2021

In this poem, I am talking about a heart that is broken from bad experiences in life, bad decisions made in life that was made, but the heart does not know that it can be put back together again. The heart does not understand what it is going through, and the heart cries out for help in many different ways, but the mind does not know how to process it, or accept it. The heart spirals out of control and falls into deep depression with no way out. Trouble arises out of nowhere to cause the heart to run away from those who loves it. The heart is now found, but in a different place to rest, in a different place to get the help that it needs to heal and mend. One day the heart will come around again…it will be thankful for the hearts that waited for it to return. ©2021
