Cloudy skies caters to dark clouds as the thunder and lightening have their fight. Lightening falshes lighting up the sky while thunder rolls on by. The clouds are heavy holding heavy loads of rain, ready to release the sheets to water the ground again.

Holding in place they stay still, as the smell of water fills the atmosphere. Darker the sky becomes, as the night critters come on out to play. Drop, drop, drop as sprinkles began to fall from the clouds in the sky, but the sheets of rain are not far behind.

Frustratingly mad the thunder roars louder and louder, the lightening flashes and crackles elcectricity through the sky lighting it up like a lamp, but the clouds grow closer together in a great big funnel to hold the liquid that wants to be released.

Trickle, trickle, drop, drop as the clouds began to give way, not paying attention to what’s going on sheets of rain began to fall from the sky in cascasdes that waters the ground from on high.

Lightening flashes with fruy, and thunder roars with rage, sheets of rain falls all night until the next day. Floods of rivers the waters burst forth from every direction seen, maybe it would have not been so bad if the lightening and thunder were not so mean.

Sheets of rain ceased to fall and the rivers of water dried up, poured out on a thirsty ground only to fill an empty cup.

What is the sheets of rain? The sheets of rain is the troubles in our lives that we face unexpectedly.

What is the thunder? The thunder is our heartbeat longing to be filled with the waters of the Holy Spirit.

What is the lightening? The lightening is the things that torments us when we are sleeping; nightmares.

What is the darkness? The darkness is sin that tries to swallow us up in the midst of our troubles.

What are the clouds? The clouds are the hands of God that keeps holding us together through it all.

What is the empty cup? We are the empty cup, the temple where Jesus lives.

What does the thunder and lightening also represent? The thunder and lightening fighting is the battle between good and evil. ©2020
